Like many artists, I was born with the
hunger to be creative. It is a natural energy embedded in my genes
that cannot be ignored. I believe it is a gift from our Creator that
allows me to converse to the Universe in my own special language. A
language composed of color, texture, spirit and emotion. If I don’t
express this energy, I feel as though my soul becomes divided from the
Universe.
After graduating from
Painted with a contemporary flare,
ancient influences of Buddhism, the metaphysical, chakra healing and other
eastern philosophies are apparent in my paintings. Philosophical and
spiritual authors such as Deepak Chopra, Eckart Tolle, and Daisaku
Ikeda have greatly influenced my artwork and have become the
back bone to my holistic lifestyle. Each
brush stroke expresses the earnest, most lighted part of my soul.
One of my art patrons described my
work as “Yoga for the Eyes.” This phrase
alludes to the union of the mind, body and soul. I
hold great honor in each opportunity that I catch to unlock a delicate balance
of visual design with spiritual transcendence.
